Boxers came to be as the result of a pet Boxer purchased in 1990 as a family
pet. He was a well bred, plain fawn male that we affectionately named
Bear. He promptly stole our hearts and so we decided to buy another.
After purchasing a bitch from Peggy Otto of PRO Boxers, she invited us to some shows. In short time, we were bitten by the show bug and hooked. This bitch, PRO's Flash of Shamrock, appears in the pedigree of several dogs we are showing now, including CH Crysto's Abracadabra (a CH EWO's Tie Breaker, SOM daughter) and her daughter, CH Crysto's Bewitched. It was the purchase of Sig's Shooting Star (a CH Arriba's Footloose, SOM daughter) from Cindy and Paul Starr that was to prove instrumental in our future success. It was from her breeding to CH Arriba's Talisman Ego, SOM that we reached the pinnacle that has been 10 years in the making. This litter produced CH Crysto's Image of Arriba, SOM. Named Gus by our children, Stacie and Andrew, who have grown up during this adventure. |
