Gus is gone but he will never be forgotten. He left his mark on this breed that we all love and he lives on with all of his get. He was every breeders dream come true.

Gus has surpassed all of our dreams. As a puppy, we sent him to the 1998 ABC with Tami Mishler. We knew Gus was a special dog when he won the 9-12 month brindle class (entry of 38). With Tami at the lead, Gus finished his championship with 4 majors, including a BISS over specials. At the 1999 ABC, Gus gave us more thrills as he made cut after cut, lasting all the way to the final selection. In 2000, Gus was a Top 20 contender, qualifying despite starting out as a special very late in the year (6 BOBs at large shows and Specialties).
Gus finished 2000 as the #7 Boxer in the US. In limited showing, Gus' record as a special included 31 Best of Breeds, 10 of which were Best in Specialty wins. Gus finished out his career in grand style by winning the 2001 Top Twenty. Gus was also shown at the 2001 ABC Regional winning Best of Opposite Sex. We are very proud of
Gus and are very excited about his future as a producer.
